Dear Church Family.

Thank you for your prayers over these last few months as we have gone through the recruitment process for our 2 new staff posts. This has been an encouraging but difficult process, largely because of the quantity and quality of applications and interviews. We are thankful for all who applied for these roles, and especially for those who came for interview. We realise that in the end only one person can be employed for each position, but we recognise the quality of the applicants and interviewees.

However, today we are able to announce the appointment of the successful applicant for the role of CITY HUB Lead and we congratulate and welcome Mr Paul Wilson to this new position.

Paul has 'long and wide' experience and expertise in all of the key roles and responsibiities of this post, and is already well connected within the city of Perth (and beyond). Paul brings career experience from local church, education, business, and the third sector, and for the last decade has served within Work Place Chaplaincy in Scotland. We are excited about the gifts, graces, and leadership that he brings, and we are looking forward to having him on the staff team.

Paul will begin employment with us on Monday 13th March, and will serve as a full time member of the team. Some of you will perhaps recognise Paul when you read the attached bio and see the photo of Paul and his wife Joyce. Paul is the son of Elizabeth and the late Alex Wilson, and of course brother to Mary - Elizabeth and Mary are faithful attenders at Trinity.

We are delighted to introduce Paul to you, and we look forward to meeting him in person in just a few weeks time. Join with us as we continue to pray for Paul and Joyce as they make this transition and move to Perth.

We plan to make a further announcement next week regarding the Missional Discipleship and Pastoral Care post, and so watch out for that email soon.

Thank you so much for your ongoing prayers.

Grace and Peace

Ian
