Good Morning Church!

As I was reading and praying this morning, I came across this short invitation:

"Give thanks for the abiding presence of the Church at the heart of the communities we serve, its people and its buildings which provide a safe space for all people."

So, as I write this morning, I am giving thanks for our Church, and for each one of you as you live as Jesus' Church in the world, serving Him and those around you with the love of God! AND, for those who are struggling this morning, I pray for the peace and presence of God to comfort you and sustain you.

UKRAINE PRAYER VIGIL: Just a reminder that we are hosting the 3rd prayer vigil for Ukraine this evening at Trinity at 7pm. Join us if you can as we seek God for Peace and Justice, praying together with others from across the Churches in Perth .

ASYLUM IN PERTH: Thank you to Jenni Kennan for sharing with us on Sunday. If you missed the service and interview with Jenni, then you catch up here -  Sunday Service | Ian Wills | 3rd April 2022 - YouTube - Jenni shared about her work with those who have come to Perth as they seek asylum in the UK, and how we can help encourage and support them and the work Jenni and her team are doing. We want to continue praying for the men who have arrived and are arriving, but also support in other ways and so here's a few other things you can do...

  1. CrowdFunding: Jenni mentioned the need for funds for the work PKAVS are doing in this area and so if you would like to give then please use the following link: Refugee & Asylum Seekers Everyday Essentials - a Community crowdfunding project in Perth by PKAVS Minority Communities Hub (
  2. Amazon Wishlist: For those who like to purchase something(s) that are needed then Jenni has created a list through Amazon - just click here to do so - - all purchases will go straight to Jenni for distribution to the men.
  3. Trainers: Finally, Jenni shared the need for men's trainers, specifically Men's sizes 7-8 (European sizes 40-42). If you can help, then either let us know and we can connect you with Jenni, or bring them with you to the Church. Wouldn't it be amazing if we could make sure every one of the guys had at least one pair of trainers by Easter.

EASTER, DEDICATIONS & BAPTISMS: Just a last call for anyone who would like to have their child(ren) dedicated on Easter Sunday, or is wondering about being baptised that morning - we would need to know by this Friday, 8th April. Just reply to this email and let me know and we'll be in touch with details.

Thanks all - and may His joy and peace strengthen you today, in Jesus' name. Amen,
