New Summer Series

On Sunday Jack shared about our new summer sermon series that will kick of this Sunday. We will also have the opportunity to hear a number of testimonies from those around the church. Here’s a message from Jack…

 

This series will be about the transformative power of Jesus. That a moment with Jesus changes everything.

Looking at moments throughout Lukes gospel, we’ll consider how Jesus meets someone and changes everything; how he takes someone’s life and turns it on its head. It might be a miracle moment, a healing, or a calming of the storm. Jesus does something and those involved have a testimony to give, a testimony of “look what God’s done” … “look at what my God has done” This series will help us think about where God’s goodness and favour has been over our own lives and how he’s been at work, orchestrating, knitting together all the pieces. We pray that over the series we might be called forward into the arms of Christ as our Lord and Saviour and have our confidence ignited to declare his goodness and give testimony.

 

Youth @Home

Young people and parents

Are you around over summer? Have no fear, we’re working hard to plan some great activities. Activities including; weekly hangouts, water activities at Willowgate activities centre, day trips to the beach and other things! Keep an eye out for more details and speak to youth leaders.

Dads vs Lads

We’re putting together a Dads Vs Lads event for the middle of July. We’ll have plenty of sports going on to help us decide the winners. We’ll send out some more details once a date is confirmed so keep an eye out for more info.

Men’s Curry Night (See flyer attached)

The men of the church are having a curry night on Friday 8th July, 7pm at Blend. The cost will be £5 and it will be a chance to give thanks and say farewell to Chris Franklin before he heads to the states. All men welcome!

NORTHBREAK

Northbreak is our all-age Church holiday joining together with churches from across our district. It’s a great week to spend together in worship, teaching, seminars, trips, fun and fellowship!
