The time between Christmas and New Year can be a "mixed bag" for people - for some, a time to rest and recharge, for others, a time that feels lonely and empty. We often use the phrase "The Family of God" when we speak about the Church, and so let me encourage you to look our for one another, connect with someone else, meet up, open your homes, and extend your tables as God's family!

As part of that "Family-of-God-Feel", Hebrews 10:25 reminds us - "let us not give up meeting together", and we've been thankful for the various groups and events that have happened over this "in between" week, mostly around meals and food at Trinity. But as we move to the weekend, there's more "meeting together" over this NEW YEAR season. Let me remind you of what's on at Trinity...

  1. Hogmanay Ceilidh: Saturday night, from 6-8pm - for all ages and stages! Bring your family along for a Hogmanay Celebration, some laughter and dancing, and a time for reflection and worship. IT WOULD BE REALLY HELPFUL TO KNOW IF YOU ARE COMING, SO PLEASE REPLY TO THIS EMAIL TO LET US KNOW!
  2. New Years Day Service: Sunday morning, 10.30-11.30am as we begin 2023 in worship together and around the Lord's Table, sharing in communion and renewing our faith and commitment to the Lord for the year ahead.

Join us for one or both of these celebrations - but remember to let us know if you're coming on Saturday evening!

Thanks all - looking forward to entering this new year with you!

Grace & Peace
