We are looking forward to all our worship services and celebrations over Easter at Trinity - we hope you can join us, and so let me remind you of what's coming up this week:
Thursday 6th April, 7.30pm - We are hosting a joint 'Maundy Thursday' service of prayer and worship with other churches from across Perth. As Jesus went to the Garden of Gethsemane to pray, he invited his disciples to come with him to "watch and pray". We will gather in unity with other churches and do likewise.
Friday 7th April, 7.30pm - In our 'Good Friday' service, we'll take time to walk through Jesus' journey to the cross, the response of his followers, and his final moments of self-giving love. We do not rush passed the cross of Christ, but pause in wonder and worship.
Sunday 9th April, 10.30am - On Sunday morning we are looking forward to our Easter baptismal service with 6 people being baptised - Praise God! It's a time for celebration as we remember the empty tomb and the resurrection of Jesus. Death has been swallowed up in victory! Life and love have triumphed over the grave.
We hope you can join us for all these services at Trinity. They are so significant for us as God's People and as a Church Family.
Finally, as we head towards this Easter weekend, let me remind you of these words from Romans 8:38-39...
For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
If you want to know whether God loves you - look to the cross!
It is here, that God demonstrates the fulness of His love for us.
It is here, that Jesus makes a way for us to enter the fulness of His love.
It is here, that we find forgiveness and healing in the fulness of His love
As you reflect on the significance of the cross and resurrection, remember that in Christ, nothing can separate us from the love of God!
Grace & Peace
